Our History

Shady Grove Baptist Church went through many changes since our founding in 1885 by small farm families. We are humbled by the work and zeal of those who came before us in spreading the love of Jesus Christ in the community. Many throughout the decades labored here during good times, difficult times, struggles and revivals, all sowing the same seed of the word of God and the unchanging message of Jesus Christ. We’re excited about what God will do next!
