How To Become a Member of Shady Grove Baptist Church

Shady Grove Baptist Church has a time of invitation following each worship service. This time is provided for anyone wishing to make a profession of faith in Christ as their Savior and/or to transfer membership. Any decision assumes your commitment to the Lord Jesus and to the Lord’s work here at Shady Grove Baptist Church.

The following is an explanation of the ways you may become a member.

• By Profession of Faith and Baptism:
  If you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord and follow Him in baptism by immersion, you are outwardly expressing your faith in Him.
• By transfer of Membership: 
  As a Baptist whose church membership is elsewhere, we welcome you to Shady Grove Baptist Church’s fellowship should God direct you here. We will take care of appropriate details by writing for your church letter.
• By Statement:
  You may come by statement of faith if your church membership records are not available for a transfer of membership from another church.
